Shop / geevon weather station wireless indoor outdoor thermometer
This 12.5-inch wireless weather station boasts a large 8.7-inch LCD display that clearly presents your local weather conditions. The display shows indoor and outdoor thermometer and humidity readings, calendar date and time, high/low temperature alerts, moon phase, barometric pressure, and weather forecasts.
The digital atomic clock in this weather station automatically keeps precise time, date, and day of the week by receiving the WWVB atomic signal. It also features an auto daylight saving time (DST) adjustment, saving you the hassle of manually changing the clock.
Equipped with advanced barometric pressure and weather forecast capabilities, this home weather station can predict the weather conditions for the next 12 to 24 hours. After a 7-day calibration period, the weather forecast for your location will be highly accurate, enhancing your outdoor planning experience.
Supporting up to 3 outdoor sensors, this wireless weather station allows you to monitor the temperature and humidity of multiple locations. The package includes one outdoor sensor to get you started.
Powered by 3 AA batteries for the main unit and 2 AA batteries for the outdoor sensor, this weather station can be conveniently used as a desk clock or wall clock without the need for any cables.
To ensure the correct time, first check if the DST (daylight saving time) feature is turned on. If not, set the time zone correctly. Alternatively, you can hold the WWVB button to manually calibrate the time or wait until 1:00 AM for automatic calibration.
If the weather station fails to receive the WWVB signal, make sure the location can receive the atomic signal. Try holding the WWVB button to manually search for the signal. Positioning the clock near a window or in a place with a strong signal, and away from potential interference sources such as ironwork, microwave ovens, or TVs, can also help.
For outdoor sensor reception issues, ensure that the A-B-C switches on both the main unit and the sensor match. Verify that the sensor and the main station are within the 330-foot (100-meter) range and that the batteries have not run out. You can also try switching the station to a different channel and then back to the original one to reconnect the sensor.
Regarding inaccurate weather forecast icons and pressure values, keep in mind that the forecast predicts conditions for the next 12 to 24 hours, not the current conditions. Reinstalling the batteries will restart the learning mode, and after 7 days, the forecast should be reasonably accurate. Ensure that the sensor is placed in a well-ventilated location.
For inaccurate temperature or humidity readings, make sure both the display and the sensor are positioned away from direct sunlight and heat or moisture sources. If the station is moved to a different environment, a calibration period of several hours may be required.
