When the hub successfully connects to WiFi for the first time, the water leak sensor has already been paired with the hub by default, ensuring a straightforward setup process.

The water leak sensor can be strategically placed in various areas prone to water leaks, such as the kitchen, laundry room, bathroom, and basement. The sensor's ability to detect water at a height of 2mm can help prevent unexpected floods and protect your valuable belongings.

The detector offers three adjustable volume levels: high, medium, and low, allowing you to customize the sound to your preference. Additionally, the alarm can be quickly turned off through the buttons on the hub or the app.

The water leak sensor can be easily paired with up to 10 sensors, providing a convenient way to expand your home's protection. Replacing the battery is also a straightforward process, requiring only a gentle twist of the shell.

The water leak sensor utilizes the conductivity of water to detect leaks. When the two probes touch the water simultaneously, a current loop is formed, and the sensor reports the water immersion status to the hub, triggering an alarm.

If the hub does not sound an alarm after detecting water immersion, it's essential to check whether the alarm switch of the sub-device is turned on in the app's sub-device list. When not enabled, only message push and logging are available.

Offline issues with the water leak sensor can be caused by various factors, such as the device being too far from the hub, low or dead battery, or signal interference due to installation on a metal surface. Reconnecting the sensor may be necessary in such cases.
