When using the digital outdoor thermometer for the first time, it typically takes 3-7 days to fully calibrate. If the sensor is moved from one environment to another, such as from outside to inside in winter, a calibration period of several hours may be required.

The backlight feature is not necessary in well-lit areas, as the screen can be easily read without it. In dark places or at night, the backlight can be turned on for 10 seconds by pressing the button, allowing for power-saving mode.

While the sensor has an IPX4 waterproof rating, it is still recommended to place it under a cover for protection, as long-term exposure to rain can lead to internal rust and damage the components.
